After my interview with you yesterday,

I saw Messra L. Reiss Bros & Co., and they would be agre-

able to pay us for a period of eight years the return com-

mission offered in the event of our securing the Texas

Co's agency for them in Hongkong and South China, I there

fore telegraphed to Mr Sanders to this effect.
